It’s light and very mobile. There are no cords that can have problems, and it records things easily and accurately. I used the original Osstell for every case (and I have placed nearly 3000 implants over the last 8 years). We used it at placement many times, and before I released the implant for restoration. The Beacon is so much easier and so much more transportable than the old one I had. I’m a huge fan! It’s also more affordable now! It’s a “win-win “situation!
